Whitetail deer
Deer are large mammals scattered throughout New Hanover, West Elizabeth, Lemoyne, and Ambarino. They are generally brown in colour, and have long, skinny legs and a short tail.


American Bison
The American Bison is native to the plains of New Hanover and West Elizabeth. As a herbivore, it grazes on grains, hay, and corn.


Cougar
Cougars are large brown cats, and one of the most fearsome predators in the park, though sometimes difficult to find.Â
BEWARE. They are aggressive, and will attack on sight. Furthermore, they are also extremely quiet outside of attacking, making it easy for a cougar to sneak up.


Elk
The elk can be found in regions spanning from southwest Tall Trees to northeast Roanoke Ridge. They do not have habitats in New Austin, Lemoyne, the Great Plains, or The Heartlands.


Bighorn sheep
The Bighorn Sheep is a species of sheep. They are named for their large horns.


Timber Wolf
Wolves are large mammals which prey on ungulates, or large hoofed mammals, like elk, moose, deer and mountain goats, as well as beavers, rabbits and other small prey. Wolves are also scavengers and often eat animals that have died due to other causes.


Alligator
The alligator is a large reptile native to Bayou Nwa in Lemoyne. Alligators live in the swamp and river delta regions of Lemoyne – in southern Bluewater Marsh and all around Bayou Nwa. They are carnivorous apex predators, feeding on fish, birds, amphibians and mammals.
