Origins
Founded by Arthur Morgan in 1898, Redemption Nationalpark has allowed the local animal population and vegetation to recover from the drastic changes in the world caused by the industrialization. The Park has last felt the impact of human activity in 1914, when John Marston advocated and successfully enforced the park be put under protection after the death of his friend Arthur Morgan in 1899.
Wildlife
You would like to broaden your knowledge on the local wildlife or just like to watch the birds? Over 80 species call Redemption Nationalpark their home.
Redemption Nationalpark also shelters endangered animals and rehabilitates those with unfortunate destinies.
Hunting is only allowed under strict conditions and periods of time.

Trailriding
Horses are allowed on the entire territory of Redemption Nationalpark.
Get the park´s most authentic experience by taking your steed along. Saddle up and pave your way through lush forests and beautiful plains.
Before you go, do not forget to carry enough water for you and your steed and do not lead your horse into dangerous situations.

Visit us
In the peak summer season, there are stage coaches that operate from any city within the park. You can arrive by ship to either Blackwater Harbour or Saint Denis Harbour.
